Eblen Charities received a check for $15,000 on Wednesday afternoon.
It’s part of the Anderson Automotive Group’s “Drive for a Difference” campaign.
Over the next six months, the group will use one team that’s “driven to make a difference.”
“The Anderson Automotive Group’s motto is Driven to Lead,” president and CEO Michael Anderson said. “A big part of that is being a community leader. Our hope is to make an impact in our community, with a concentrated charitable effort across our entire organization for the next six months and beyond.”
The effort started in June and runs through November providing relief for local charities.
“Right now, everybody’s trying to keep things in the community. Local businesses, we want them to thrive, as well, just like us. We’re a local business. We want to partner with the people who partner back with us,” Fred Anderson Toyota general manager James Farrell said.
In August, donations will go toward MANNA FoodBank. Employees and customers have the opportunity to vote for local charities to receive funds raised over the following months.
