Every day we have the opportunity to dream, pursue our passions, bless and bless others. So let’s see and chase our great potential and the many possibilities that God has set before us.
If you put your heart and thought into what you want to do and do your best without giving up, there is no big dream that you cannot achieve.
We now have incredible power to create a better life.
How big is your dream?
Do you want to do something special?
And what do you expect to happen?
In 1 Chronicles 4:10, I read Jabez’s prayer. There, Jabez asks: From evil, don’t it make me sad! “
No matter what happened in his previous life, Yabetsu was confident enough to ask God for something big. “Bless him,” “expand his territory,” and “God’s hand is with him.”
And the Bible says, “God gave him what he requested.”
Maybe you had your share of sadness and disappointment, and maybe some situations haven’t happened yet, as you expected.
But have you, like Yabes, asked God to do something wonderful in your future?
Think long and hard about the dream you are choosing. You have more abilities than you can imagine, so have great expectations for your precious life.
Remember that when we dare to dream a big dream, God does not simply drop it on our lap. We have to work hard for it. So don’t just sit and wait. Don’t sell yourself short, as you are more capable.
Be prepared and be vigilant. And move your dreams. Whatever you want to do, step by step to make it happen. Example: If you like performing on stage, join a local theater company and take advantage of your gifts.
If you want to write a book, get a diary and start writing one page a day. If you dream of buying your own home, start adding to “New Home Funding” every week.
Some time ago I read an article about a 99-year-old gentleman who continued to develop his potential despite difficult circumstances. And at the age of 99, he just graduated from college.
Similarly, you can never be too young or too old to dream or realize what you were trying to complete.
In my first book, I remember telling a cute story I’ve heard about a small fish swimming in the vast blue waters.
The small fish were lethargic and weak as they flocked near the large coral reefs. Then a big mighty fish swam beside him and worried, “What’s wrong, a small fish?” He asked, “Is there anything I can do to help you?”
Tired of the small fish, he replied, “I’m very tired and thirsty.”
“Well,” said the big fish. “First of all, drinking cold water for a long time will make you feel better and regain your strength.”
The small fish answered immediately. you can not! you can not! “
“But why?” I asked the big fish.
“I don’t want to drink too much water,” said the small fish. “I’m worried that the water will run out!”
“Exhausted!” Cried a big fish. “Exhausted! That’s good. This is the Atlantic Ocean. Exhausted! Ha ha ha,” the big fish laughed as he swam away.
This story shows that we live far below our privileges. God has given us a wealth of blessings, and as children of God, we are the heirs of all.
So, get out of the ordinary and step in abnormally. Don’t stick to the blocks of stumbling that may be in front of you or let something distract you. You can overcome obstacles that get in your way by staying very focused on your goals.
God is looking at your abilities. He knows where you were and what you can be.
Therefore, don’t be afraid to aim for the best and the best, keep believing and reach beyond your current location.
Yes, you may be a “small fish” in the “big sea”. And perhaps the odds for success are staggering and dreams seem impossible.
But for some reason, it can happen. Because God specializes in using unlikely people in unusual ways to achieve his great purpose.
Missionary William Carey once said: Try great things for God. Always have hope and courage. Keep an eye out for new opportunities that God wants to entrust to you.
If we are open to them, there are always signs.
The blessing is within your reach. So go ahead and reach for it.
